Sorry can't help you with pics, (nice boat btw though) it's pretty easy. Before pulling off the 3M backing just set all the pieces in the boat it's pretty easy to figure out. Also, I use a rolling pin (like the dough rolling pin in your kitchen) I find it works really well for an even distribution of pressure when installing.

Make sure you post up pics when your done, I want to see this!!

What I did was print an interior layout pic of the boat, I think I used the one from hydro turfs site. Then I placed a number on each section of the printout. Then I used a black marker to put the same corresponding number on the back of each piece. It made it really easy when laying it out.

I just received my hydro turf for my islandia. I see that the instructions say you have to sand the area for fiberglass application. I am a little concerned about sanding the textured areas where the flooring will be installed... am I just paranoid here?

No need to sand, it sticks to it just fine. Just make sure it's clean and dry, then wipe it down with alcohol and when it dries you are ready to stick it down.

RFoster - you da man! I was not looking forward to all that sanding... wow. Great tip with the alcohol too. I also heard somewhere that you want to install in the sunlight when its warm out which helps the glue cure? Thanks again- cannot wait to get this baby done!!

I dunno about heat, but it is a pressure sensitive adhesive. After you get it on, put heavy stuff on each piece for a while. I just used books and crap from around the garage.

Better than books and heavy stuff.....I mentioned to Scooper that if he and his wife had rolled on it, good things might happen...but it was too late of advice.

Did you also put hydroturf on the back deck and the little step that is on the engine hatch? If so I'd love to see it, considering getting that for mine and we have the same model.
