I love that you can toss these boats around like a jet ski. However, I'm worried something is going to break spinning out and driving it like it's stolen. Do you guys run them hard and if so has anything been damaged?

I run the hell out of mine!! I would not, however, "submarine" it!!

The way I see it, these boats have engines that have been tried and tested on PWC's. I think the constant on-off throttling experienced in PWC use is more wear and tear than the abuse I put on my speedster..... just my opinion!!

I spin my 4000 Lb, 22' long Islandia. So... I don't think you will hurt your 1800. (assuming you don't hit anything)

I never hurt mine. It stays more of a constant cruising speed. Only spin it with a few people on the twin 7717's in a 18' not that powerful..

Alright then, I guess I won't worry about it. Thanks for the replies.

I would love to see an Islandia spinning, that's funny.
