nah, if your physically fit, popping up on the back of an x4 is pretty dam easy IMO, when the water's cold it takes me all of about 4 seconds to get back on, grab bar, put feet on back, hop up, insert lanayard, ride,, if its warm, i'll take my time and relax.

Yeah, I rode a 91 SP for years and I have zero problems reboarding. Im about 200lbs so I'm not a small guy but I'm not fat either.. that might help :P

thanks for all the help, i just picked up my ski, ill be bringing it up this weekend, this is going to be pretty funny....

what a piece of shit ski!, if mine was like that it would end up as a target with my 300 ultramag...

well, honestly until you ride one, you don't know what your missing, blaster's rock ! put guy on there with some athleticism and some skills and he will TEAR UP any course out there. Case in point,,, three weeks ago we did some mangrove runs if you don't know what that is, its basically tearing thru a waterway about 8 feet wide full of twists and turns, your constantly on the edge of your seat jamming and laying off the throttle, and trying to avoid getting slammed into the trees at 30+. anyway's... we had 3 modded XP's and we're following a blaster with a top speed of about 45,, we're all 60+ so I could pull up to him on the straightaway and on the turns, he'd totally fire thru them at 3/4 throttle, and power away, those things literally turn on a dime and love to jump. But it was a little frustrating now being able to keep pace with a guy on a 700 stock engine with my modded 787, I thought my ski was nimble, but its not compared to the blaster.

you see anybody riding a blaster, give them credit, they're sitting on top of a very very challenging ride, and deserve a pat on the back, when a non idiot gets tossed, it takes him about 10 seconds to get back on. Throw a fat chick on there and get out your video camera.

my little brother can mount one in about 6 seconds, back in college he worked for an engineering firm as an intern, they were investigating a lawsuit, he put on one of those wetsuits that measure the pounds of force impact, and basically spend 3 hours on a blaster1 getting up to 40mph and jumping off the ski to measure the impact, remount, repeat... he's got the water start down perfect now :)
