I rode my 01 rx in salt water for the first time. I started smelling pump oil so I quit running it, when I got home I flushed it out properly and even ran a little water inside the hull to rinse what salt water got inside out. It sat in the back yard for 3 weeks. I went out to crank it and it wouldn't turn over. It acts as if the engine is locked up. I pulled the plugs and it still won't turn over. I even bypassed the silinoid straight to the starter. would the pump being locked up stop the motor, and how can I disconect the drive shaft so that I can make sure it's not the motor?
