I don't know how to describe the feeling it but I now have a clear area from my house to the shop, no jet skis, trailers, or boats. I can actually use the whole driveway !!! It's awesome!! Shortly I will have room on the back cement slab of my shop. Oh the possibilities !!! My first experience is gonna be pulling my motorcycle out of the shop and actually using the cement driveway and not the grass. :D :D It's the little things... ha ha. Touchdowns everyone !!

Ok, got to know, what motorcycle do you have? I ride a 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1500, a cruiser . Haven't rode much lately but I'm itching to get back on her. Just rebuilt carbs and working on the road test.

Lots of motorcycles. :D Streetbike now is a 2018 Aprilia 900 Shiver. My first V-twin sport bike. Awesome machine.

I have a 2002 Suzuki SV650 Race bike "superbike" class. Projects are 1975 Yamaha RD 250, Yamaha RD350, (2) Yamaha Chappy's, 1975 Honda Elsinore MR 250. I am trying to move away from all these jet skis and get started on the motorcycles. I like the old 2-strokes. I rode a 1974 Kawasaki 500 H1 2-stroke triple for 6 years to and from work and everywhere else. I'd love to restore one but the prices are absolutely insane. I think the bikes are much easier to restore than the jet skis.

I'm not getting out of jet skis completely, but I'm not buying any restoration projects. I have about 7 I really want to do. I'm going to finish my shop addition which will make it much easier for me to move around. Gonna cover my 25' X 30' section. That ought to help out. :D

This is awesome that you guys like motorcycles as well, I’ve been driving bikes since I was 13, driving it back and forth to my farm job before and after school. It was a 1982 Yamaha Heritage Special, other bikes I’ve owned, 1983 Kawasaki GPZ 305, my favourite 1983 Yamaha Seca 550, 1984 Honda Interceptor 750 and currently have a 2003 Suzuki GSXR that I bought brand new, only has 1100 miles on it and never seen water, always cleaned with Plexus. Also still have the 82 Yamaha and 84 Interceptor. Love it,,,

I had went a stretch from my younger days till I bought the 2003 GSXR 750, I realized shortly after buying it, that my crotch rocket days were over, never really enjoyed that bike. My favourite was my Yamaha Seca 550, bought that bike for 600.00, had beautiful air brushed cemetary on the gas tank, cafe style handle bars, I really miss that bike, I still sometimes browse through the classifieds looking for another one,

I bought a 1981 Yamaha Seca 750 brand new. It replaced my 1974 Kawasaki 500 H1 Triple. I priced the H2 750 last year and idiots are paying egregious money for them. I didn't want another 500 but I priced those. If I do one, I'm gonna put some expansion chambers on it. I used to ride wheelies on that 500 every day. LOL

2000 R1. 72mph 1st gear, 113mph 2nd gear. :D :D Way too much for the street. Took it to Oak Hill raceway in Henderson texas and only needed two gears. :D Man did that thing tear up a set of race tires. Completely stock engine...lift the front end at will. Like I said "way too much for the street, even the track."

The GSXR 750 is pretty touchy to, maybe not as much as the R1 but definitely gives me jelly legs. 55mph in first gear or 95mph in second gear, twist the throttle a little more quickly and the front wheel is coming up, I will be honest, I don’t really have the balls for second gear wheelies anymore

I watch the videos of those chicks doing stunts. I'd love to have a stunt bike and slide the azz end around. None of that handlebar shiznit though. Ha ha Yep I'd put that GSXR up with the R1 as too much bike for public roads. Great track bike but 600's are much more rideable. If you don't want to pass anyone on the straights the SV650 is perfect for the track.

I’m ready for something like a Suzuki Boulevard, I’m definitely getting old because I dont want to go 183 mph anymore. The GSXR is fine on the streets as long you don’t go over 7500 rpm’s, that’s when things get scary.

I remembered a guy in high school driving a 2T street bike in the early 90’s. Got me to researching these Yamaha street bikes. Sure would love to have one of these. I believe this is a 1985 Yamaha RD350LC. I think that’s gorgeous.

This isn’t my 85 Interceptor but it’s identical to it. It’s sitting in my uncles shed. Someday I might bring her home and get her running again if I can find the key, hopefully I left the key in it🤔

Mine sat for a while when I came to Florida, that is why I had to rebuild the carbs. Plus the altitude difference from Montana.

That bike is probably $10k right now. Just a guess. People don't have the balls to ride them nor the mechanical skills to work on them but they pay egregious sums to own them. Disgusting. I want a bike I can ride double like the old days. I can still ride wheelies with my wife on the back. :D :D The yamaha RD 350 I bought for $500 is gonna be able to do that. Ha ha.

Are you shitting me, you got an RD 350 for 500.00 Nice find, what year? And your wife will let you wheelie with her on.😲 I wrecked it for myself, took my wife on the GSXR, she was tapping me, I thought that was the sign to go faster. It wasn’t.

The 350 is junk but just needs to be restored. A good friend of mine's family had a Yamaha shop for 50 years. We are going to start restoring the old bikes. the RD 250 is on it's way. I think the bikes are gonna be a lot of fun to restore.

As for wheelies, :D :D my wife is my first and ony girlfriend. We dated on my 1972 Kawasaki F7 175 and yep I rode wheelies everywhere. :D Then I had a Kawasaki 500 H1 triple and yep she was on the back with many wheelies. :D For some reason she trusts me and she is soooo good on the back I gotta check and see if she is still on the bike. We'll be married 49 years in December and we ain't slowin down. High speed, low drap. Grip it and rip it !!

I have a Yamaha Zuma 50cc scooter for use at the race track and we take it to the church for the bike-a-thon.... anybody that knows me know I'm not peddling. :D I bring the scooter and Sissy rides on the back. I can't get the front end up tho... Ha ha.

Still no jet skis in the sight from the house to the shop. All clear. I think part of the fun is that nothing is stopping me from doing other projects.

I've had this o'l thing since '82..hit a small deer with it in Woodstock Illinois back in '88 @ 70 mph @ 4 a.m...yeah.

Anywho..had her out yesterday with the Harley boys.(they gotta go so damm fast!!!)Screenshot_20240825_075324_Photos.jpg
