Fuel Valve 92 XP

I was having an issue of getting fuel to the engine while there was still plenty of fuel in the tank, could refill and it ran fine. I removed the fuel tank and found 4 fuel filters and clamps in the bottom of the tank. The fuel valve had 3 deteriorated short hose’s (fuel issue) and it looks as if there may have been 4 hose’s at one time. I cleaned the tanks and it had what looked like melted black hose on the bottom. The parts diagram only shows 2 hose’s. How many should there be and is it possible that it has the wrong fuel valve in it? I don’t have a local dealer to talk to and would like to make sure I order the correct parts online.
