the o-ring inside my fuel selector was degrading and blocking the flow of fuel so I cleaned it out and removed the entire ring. What can the consequence be of riding around without that o-ring in place? The only thing I can think of is that there will be free flowing gas at all times, not able to shut off the flow of fuel or move to the reserve tank.
