frying the ignition relay on 92 xp 580????HELP

hey guys i just rebuild the mtor in a 92 xp 580 and went to start it and there was no spark i looked at some online maunals and saw relays well one was bad i had awesome spark so i took it out for an evening it probably got 15 to 20 starts on now now i have no spark again i didnt get to pull the relay and chack it again but i think my problem for no spark is there any one of you have an idea why it would be frying the relay or what would cause tht? please get back to me asap its my first ski and i just finally got it all put together new crank and pistions n cyclinders now i jsut wanna ride it haha thanks

unplug the black/red wire, if it fires up, you'll need to "choke" it to kill it, and if that gave you spark, then you need new mpem.
