First Sea Doo - 93 XP

Hi All, I just got a 93 XP and it hasn't been run in a number of years.

First question is how do I identify what engine size it has (clue, twin carbs).

Some mention of a plate that rotates is warped due to an overheat (which from reading up I'm pretty confident is the rotary valve). This may or may not have been a showstopper but then it was unused for a loooong time.

I guess a teardown might be in order to see what's all good or not overall. I have downloaded the documentation on pulling it out via this site however any teardown tips are greatly welcome. If I purchase a manual, which manual is the most desired to own?

And for the pump, what should I check or look for (outside of obvious physical damages)?

Thanks, not to be a spoil sport to the forum but I found the manuals (free) at another site. Looks like enough for me to be able to begin a teardown and inspection.

Hey, where did you get the manuals? I am picking up a 93 XP this weekend that needs an engine rebuild and manuals would be great.
