I know, I just figured I'd try and see if it was worth Fixing the Ski before I dropped 50 or a 100 on a battery....

So the battery and the starter are both junk. I pulled the starter out to rebuild it. Called the local seadoo dealer for parts. He said the part number was 278 001 297 for the brush assembly. Weird thing is he said there was only a single brush. Is that correct, or do I need another part?

I have a rebuilt OEM Denso starter and a brand new after market starter on the shelf if your interested.

Some of these "project skis" are actually fun to try and get going. I learn a little more each time but am still light years away from some of these guys. Awesome place for help!!!!
