FASTEST place I can order parts from?

I bought a 98 Speedster today and all it needs is a steering cable. Part 204-390-145.

I'm figuring this part is hard to find. Any advice on where to order it where I can hope to receive it by Friday? Saturday might work too. I'm willing to pay extra for overnight shipping. What online store and/or dealership (I'll call when they open in the morning) has the most direct connection to wherever Seadoo parts are?

Does any place offer direct drop shipping for Seadoo parts, or will it absolutely need to be shipped TO whatever place I order it from and THEN shipped to me?

The problem is... most shops don't have a cable like that on the shelf... so they have to order it direct.

Your best bet may be to call SBT. If they have one... you can pay to have it over-night'ed.

SBT doesn't have an aftermarket version for this boat. They said they"can order" it from Sea-Doo.

That's the prob. Since the steering cable may never go bad, if maintained... there is no reason for a dealer, or on-line shop to keep it on the shelf. SO... it will have to come direct from Bombardier. That means a 2 or 3 week delay to you. (depending on how often that shop orders from Bombardier)

Since seadoo used Telefex steering units... you may want to just call a local boat shop, and see if they have generic cables. You will have to remove your cable first, and then find one with the right ends on it.
