I've heard nothing but good reviews concerning full bore

96 XP800!
Keep the 2 strokes alive!

Yep there a good reputable shop. I had 2 top end rebuilds done there and they were both shipped within three weeks. Not sure on entire motor rebuilds go as far as turnaround time goes but the guy who owns it Mike I believe,is a great guy and will take time out of his day to talk to you. Seems like most engine rebuild company's have a very long turnaround time in the peak season but yea I would deff recomended them.

Good to know, been trying to find someone thats good and stumbled on their site. Not a big fan of SBT on my own skis.

I use SES out of Horsham, PA. I've sent in 3 engines to day, and all 3 still run. He uses your core and quality parts.

Before I learned how to build on my own I used ses he took awhile to get it done but it's still running strong next to the motor I built myself on my twin speedster.

They only place to stay away from is pwc engine out of New York that place is a joke stay far far away from there!!!!
I got screwed on a rebuilt crank that was junk and ended up having to pay return shipping out of the deal.

I am on year three of my SES rebuild. Ski runs like a stuck pig. But their lead time can be long. Be sure to confirm delivery date before sending them your motor. For a quick turn around SBT is your best bet.

My 95 GTX needs rebuilt 657X was thinking about just going to premium engine and swap them out i don't have the time or the tools to properly rebuild an engine.

Since you're a 1/2 hr drive away, I'd do it. However I'm not sure I'd expect to be back on the water any time soon, I'm sure he's swamped.

I had a good experience with full bore. Sent my 787 to them in December of 2013 and got it back late March, which was within the promised time frame. Almost two full seasons later of hard running, and the engine is still holding up great. Compression when I received it was 150/150 and it remains that way. So I would definitely recommend them if you have a few months time to spare. If you are looking for a quick turnaround, they are not the way to go. If you need an engine now, SBT is the way to go. If you have a few months, I think you will get higher quality from Full Bore.

With Full Bore, I also got a 2 and a half year "no fault" warranty, which given that I got it back in March, is basically a 3 season no fault warranty! Can't find that anywhere else. Having said that, it was a winter special and I don't know if they will offer it again.

Yes, the SES address is a house. I dropped an engine off there before to him directly.

I'm about 2.5 hours away, so my most recent ones I shipped. With turnpike tolls and gas, the cost difference was like $20 to save me 4-5 hours of driving...

im going to pull my engine this week and open up the cylinders to see whats bad it was knocking and screeching when i stopped running it lol

I think FullBore does good work, but don't expect quick service or honest updates. I scheduled my engine rebuild in March and was confirmed for a June turnaround. Finally got it back in November. He was full of excuses and broken promises, but once he has your engine, there's not much you can do but hope and pray that he comes through. Hopefully he was just going through a rough patch, but he sure put a damper on our summer.

I had fullbore machine my cylinders a few years ago and he did a good job, was quick and took all my calls. I have no problem recommending them. I do my own builds so I can't comment on their rebuild service.

I have had SES rebuild my 657x. I can tell you he stand by is no fault warranty since it broke 2 twice on me. First one lasted 10 minutes, second one 2 hours and coolant hose broke. On the 3rd one with no issues. I think the first one dropped a cylinder, I am not sure since it was premixed 40:1 plus the oil injection, 2nd one my fault since the water hose broke not the builders fault what so ever, 3rd one it working on premix since I scared to go to the oil pump only even though the oil tests fine.

Fullbore has done 3 topends for me, Yamaha GP1200, Polaris 750, and Yamaha 200 Blaster. All have been fine, I still have the GP1200 7 years later. He now has 2 of my 717's doing a rebuild for my boat.
