So last weekend I had a motor stall from best guess a dirty fuel filter and had to run back to the ramp on one engine.what should be done to make sure the motor that stalled didn't fill with water, starter went out restarting the motor too much so starting isn't an option right now.

Generally the speed you will get on one motor shouldn't be too much of an issue but to be safe you should pinch off the water intake hose to the exhaust manifold to prevent it filling with water and then flowing back into the motor.

Thx for the reply

I didn't know about that, what should I do now having not pinched off the water intake? I did remove a section of the exhaust to remove the starter and a small amount of water came out.

A small amount of water from the exhaust would be normal. Depending on how quick you traveled back on the single engine you may not need to worry too much about it. I would have thought if there was a problem with the speed a lot more water would have come from the exhaust as it would have been full. But, if you really want to be sure, remove the plugs from the motor and turn it over to see if any water comes out of the plug ports. If nothing comes out, then you are all good. If water comes out you really need to get started on removing the oil and cleaning the water out before any significant damage is caused.
