I have a 2006 utopia and I started having electrical issues. My stereo, bilge fan, 12v outlet and wheedles system stoped working. Every thing else works fine ( lights, horn etc), The fuses are good, I have 12v across all the fuses and the 2 20 amp fuses are good by the battery. I have no power at any of the listed components. I'm stumped where to look next

The problem might not be with the 12v side, maybe you have a bad ground? Check resistance from the negative wires of the non-working items back to the battery negative terminal.

I was thinking the same thing dsm, I have been trying to find a wiring diagram of the utopia but unable to find one. I put my wife's skis in the locker that night then the next day on the water is when I noticed things weren't working

I have the EXACT same problem and the shop manual does not have a schematic. I tested the the blower switch and it doesn't get 12V. Blower works fine when I give it 12V from light switch. I changed the Twin Engine control for a new one and same issue.

What is the really in the dash for? It seems like it is wired to the ICS and Blower switch. How do I test it? It is not even listed in the shop manual or parts.

I would love some schematics.

I can only find schematics for the challenger and speedster, I am going to do some wire chasing tomorrow night and see if there is another fuse. I’ll see if I have a relay

Pretty sure you have one tie wrapped to the main harness. I have seen references to it before but can't find any now.

Currently having a ground issue on my boat. Not sure about the Utopia, but most of the grounds go through the boat's ECU. It has been a frustrating problem to say the least.

If the component is controlled by the ECU it switches the ground, 12+ is always supplied and present. Things that you control ie: lights, bilge pump are run through the VCM and switch 12+. The VCM is a second fuse block.

I am having a similar issue with my 2007Utopia, the only switch that works on the dash is my stereo. No horn, bilge pump, nav lights,or blower
checked grounds,All fuses are good that I have found so far.
checked 12v at the switches and all seems good.
any suggestions Would be helpful.
cant seem to find a wiring diagram for Thor this year and model again any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
I’m stumped

All of the components you are having a problem with run through the VCM. There is no way to troubleshoot the VCM other than to verify the correct voltages going into it and not coming out of it.

Where is the VCM located In a 2007 Utopia?
Does anyone have a wiring diagram I could possibly use to verify the correct voltages?

The VCM is located under the from dash, you should have a small door that swings open to reveal the VCM and fuses.

Please PM your email address and I will send schematics.

I fixed the issue, turns out it was 1 of the fuses behind the battery cut off switch. To access, remove the switch and look around in the hole for 2 pigtails. The fuse is located in there.

If your gauges aren't working, check the rear ECU boxes for each engine. There is gauge fuse in each box.

I located and fixed my problem. It was the 20 amp fuse behind the Battery cutoff switch, there are a total of 4 fuses behind this switch I initially found and checked 3 Fuses didn’t see the problem one.it sure would have been easier to troubleshot with a schematic,I would still like to get one if anyone had one they would like to share,PM me.
This was definitely a learning experience. In my troubleshooting efforts I located a total of 16 fuses in this boat and of course the last one I located was the culprit.

Wow, in only found 2 there.

PM me your email address for schematic.
