Dr honda, any news on the seadoo forum logo sticker? just figured id drop in to see how things were going on, since its winter and am slowly working on the ski and was curious! :)

thanks

Hey Doc, I will need registration numbers for both my skis soon and a hull logos for my GTI. You have any patterns or info. For the 97 GTI graphics? My wife likes the factory graphics. Please let me know. Oh, also need a GTI gauge cover graphic, colors not decided yet pending. thanks!

I don't print graphics... so I can't reproduce the OEM's. But... I can do the hull numbers without an issue.

Dr. Honda, I much like "opformark" am looking for original graphics for a 97 GTI. Nothing is available out there and you appear to be my best hope. I was reviewing this thread and you did some items for "seadoosteve" that I am interested in. The large SeaDoo on the rear quarter to start with. How can I best contact you for more details? Please help!

Sorry... no.

I just have a simple vinyl machine to cut graphics. For a wrap... you will have to contact someone who can do large format printing.

Some of Dr Honda's decals that I recently applied to my SPX project... all of these decals were supplied by him with the exception of the "bombardier" decal.

Hey Doc
There was some chatter at one time about getting some "seadoo forum" decals made. Did this just die, or is it still a possibilty?

Be nice to get some on our skis, you never know who you might see on the lake with a decal.

I have enough westside powersport stickers to use for wallpaper, I am looking for something different. LOL

Well.....

I made up some basic "Seadooforum.com" stickers (just text) and I'll send them to whoever wants them. But... I was working with the owners to get a good logo graphic (like at the top of the page) but the way it was done by the original designer... it wasn't compatible with my software. Basically... I couldn't "Weld" it into one graphic... and the cutter would try to cut all the things that you don't see. (or the stuff that is covered) Needless to say... it would destroy the sticker.

If anyone here is good with a vector art program (AI, PS, etc) and would like to reproduce the graphic... I would love to be able to cut them.

Thanks for posting that.

The big SPX came out good. I may have to do that on my XP.

Thanks Dr Honda, I am really happy with them ... and keep an eye out for another email in the near future, I just picked up another ugly duckling(94 SPI) that the girlfriend will be able to ride and I am going to be looking at trying to match the graphics, only with different colours.

Here is a little bit closer shot of the big SPX logo.

Thanks again

Do you have a gallery of what you have available? I want a complete kit fof my gsx and would love to see what you have avaible or things that you have made

Sorry... no, I don't have a regular gallery. I basically just do this on the side, and try to give a good price to the guys here. (I don't advertise this on my shop's web site) Also... I generally don't have anything pre-made. everything is custom to what these guys wanted. Although... if you see something you like, I can make it again.

Basically... Someone owed me money, and I traded the vinyl machine for his debt.

I can't print graphics... so I can't do fades... and if the graphic gets too complex... it will be hard to reproduce, and install. (each color is installed individually)

If you look over the pages here... that is a good representation of what I can do. (blocky graphics, and text)

Well.....

All due respect Doc, as you have proven to be a master of all trades...

My wife has become the queen of the custom cut vinyl. She is a career woman who has taken up vinyl cutting as a hobby when the Cricut's were popular. She got into the custom control software and has since moved to owning upwards of 3 different cutters. She has even gotten into heat transfer vinyl, cutting edible designs for cakes and food, and even cutting rhinestone templates.

She could help you with converting any graphic to a vector format. Just email me or PM me directly. If you care to see any of her work, check out her blog. I'm not sure if she updates it anymore, but she has 327 followers!

I personally like the projects her and I did with our snowmobile windshields!

You think your wife can replicate oem stickers?

Anything that can be layered can be reproduced. Printed graphics and wraps are a different animal, as the good doctor has pointed out. There is also something to do with legality of reproducing and selling copywrited logos.....

My wife, or Tony could reproduce anything from a scanned image once converted to an SVG or other form of vector art. Multi-colored items need to be cut, weeded and layered. It's a very cool process. I think it helps her clear her mind outside of work.

I actually converted an upstairs office into a vinyl room for her, as she has hundreds of rolls of different colored and patterned vinyl. When she bought the commercial heat press for the heat transfer vinyl, then the real fun came. She is actually associated with a number of wholesale clothing companies now doing shirts and jersey's for the schools sporting teams etc. Some hobby!

The diamond plate vinyl is pretty cool on the snowflap on my Yamaha Apex!

Hi Guys....

Sorry for the slow responses for stickers right now. But... as you can imagine... this is my busy time of the year, and I've been trying to get customer boats/Skis/Bikes done. I should have plenty of time to work on stickers in about 2 weeks.

So... please bear with me, as I get over the spring rush.

Tony, were you ever able to print a SDF sticker with the logo? If not we can rework it so you can...
