I just got a new seal carrier for my 1994 spx... Well anyways The dealership offered to put the bearing + the 2 double lip seals in for no charge.. Well anyways the point is I put it all back together and when I greased the seal carrier I have always greased it till a little came out the front where I could see it "visable".. well when I did the new one it never came out the front it only came out the back side. My question is.. Did the dealership put the front double lip seal on backwards??? Does this matter? Would it effect anything? I know it is suppose to come out the back cause it did on my last one but it also came out the front... Front = AS INSIDE THE HULE.....
The seal has a small looks like a wire that goes around the rubber inside...
Mine had this also but it faces in now... The guy told me it doesnt matter the bearing is still sealed tight as the back one.. and this makes it able to take more grease??
My question is will this effect anything? Could I leave it?
