I need the set screw for the choke cable on a 94 SP. Does anyone know what size it is and what pitch the threads are?

Home Depot has metric stuff in the drawers in fastener area. Use a piece of paper and press hard to the screw hole to get diameter. Go and get the size screw, course and fine. I would be willing to bet it is a course thread. If it is big enough it may be a bolt. Mine is the style used for bicycle cables. I buy extras and they go in my ski expedition tool box. Nuts, bolts, washers and screws might get you or someone back on the water.

If the carb is the same as the 95 SP it should be a M4 X 6mm long set screw. As per the microfiche. Pitch is either .7 or .5 for an M4 screw. .7 is the popular thread pitch for an M4, meaning it is the one you will find 99.9% of the time. .5 thread pitch is uber fine.
