Oil injection bleed screw

When I was putting my oil injection bleed screw on after bleeding the lines I snapped it and I figured I could just replace it with any old screw so I did. I found a screw that worked so I put the washer the other one had on it on and put it on and now I can see a small oil leak and feel it when I put my hand below the screw so what do I do? I can’t find the part anywhere for sale and it doesn’t seem to have a part number.

Find a new one on ebay even if you have to buy another pump. If it is leaking oil it will suck air and destroy your engine.

Ordered a new assembly off eBay. Got it for like 25 bucks.

Is there anything I should put on the threads or like the washer to seal it?

Only thing needed is the copper crush washer. And DO NOT over tighten it.

Do I need to buy a new one off OSD? I can’t reuse the old one? Yeah that’s how I broke the last one.

Yes, the old one can be reused if not damaged.

Read about annealing copper washers. I have reused many as is and annealed and both worked. I now anneal them all just for peace of mind.

Never annealed one and never had a leak.
