Changing the start button on a 2011 GTX

The red button is about $8.00. You have to remove the plastic cover around the button first. There are no screws. The plastic cover is hinged on the top. Take a small flathead screwdriver and carefully pry away from the bottom - you will see the slots on the bottom. The side will work too. Once it's off the button falls out. The new ones are dome like and firm. They are easier to use.

My original button was different too...flatter and more difficult to press, but the same size.

I have the oblong button that has start/stop written on it that's where your vts buttons are from the previous years

No pictures, but I will see if I can take some in the next few days with some pointers. It is not hard to do. Just pry the plastic housing off.
