Happy Dad Day!
2010 Challenger 210 non-supercharged:
Replacing Oil Switch/Sensor: Service manual says remove throttle body. Then reset computer for closed position using BUDS computer.
Mechanics: Is that really necessary? Any advice to avoid the computer reset? I don't want to trailer it to a dealership and not about to spend $700 on the software.
I know guys have used a long socket to R&R the sensor under the TB. But I can't get my hand under the TB to clip the connector back on. Any tricks for that?
Longer story... the oil filter cannister was dripping on oil sensor wire ( since fixed) which may have caused an intermittent oil pressure light. Per manual, first tried cleaning terminals (with CRC Spray). But I just can't get the connector back on the old sensor to see if that solves the oil light.
THANKS!
