Ecu checks for low oil pressure

Hi,

I’m getting a low oil pressure code P0524. I have triple checked and changed all the usual suspects-
Oil/ oil level
oil filter
Oil pressure switch.
I have put a manual gauge on to watch my pressure while running and it is within spec, so I am confident I have oil pressure.
I have checked the wire from the pressure switch to the ecu with a meter and can not find any breaks in the wire.
This leaves me to think the issue is with the ecu. Is there anyway to diagnose the ecu?
I can unplug the oil sensor and run, but I have the check engine light on which is not ideal. When I have the pressure switch plugged in, it goes into limp mode after a few minutes and gives me the low oil pressure code.

any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

I had a stubborn low oil pressure warning last year. Replaced the OPS and the problem persisted.
Finally took it to the dealer.
Apparently, there was a small O ring on the OPS that I had missed.
That missing O ring didn't allow for a proper seal and caused the ECU to trigger a low oil pressure alert.

P0524 is the OPS.
Install a new one and seal it with Loctite 243, screw it straight it sits a bit aslant.
Tighten proper with 10Nm, when your thread is not good hand tighten is enough but it has to sit properly to the engine aroung

By o-ring I think he means the yellow connector seal which tends to fall out on that single wire terminal connector.
