My engine is running a bit lean (will be adjusted this week). To make sure I had no issues, right after each ride, I popped the seat and touched the plugs with my fingers. Burning hot is a problem but if you can hold your fingers straight on them, most likely the engine is not overheating (mine are hot but I can keep my fingers on them right after riding). I was told on this forum that high screw should always be closed and that if you had to open it, it meant a problem somewhere else. But another guy on this forum told me he was always opening it a bit to be more safe. Go figure.
