i cleaned the fuel filter in the carb in my 2000 gti. it was completely clogged. where are the jets that i should also blow out? i have a friends manual, but can't tell where they are. does it show on the micro fiche? i am no expert in this and would appreciate any help. thanks.

remove the 4-panhead screws on opposite of internal filter side. Then it will expose the n/s=needle and seat assy. Also, you'll see 2 phillips screws, remove those, and the 2 passages that have each jet is under that plate.

Thanks, TB76. anything you can think of I should be careful about taking this apart? any pieces that might come flying out? 100 psi air ok and will not damage anything internally? Thanks again. AndyL

100psi..not good stud, just gonna unlodge it at point "A" and clogg up point "B".
Take it apart, carefully, so dont rip anything, then have can of carb cleaner, and spray the sh** outta it. Remove the LSA/HSA,..etc, so every passage is open...
