Broken fuel fitting on fuel tank

Need some advice. In an attempt to replace the fuel inlet fitting on the fuel tank, I broke off the fitting so there is a portion stuck in the block piece fitting that goes to the tank. See the picture. My question is would anyone suggesting using an EZ-Out and penetrating oil to remove the stuck portion or is there a better solution. The boat is a 2004 so the fitting is the original. I also thought about trying to remove the the block piece but suspect I may have the same issue. I believe the fitting is aluminum so the EZ-Out may not work as well as with brass. Obviously heat isn’t going to work since it’s a fuel tank. I just installed a freshly rebuild engine last fall so I don’t want to go through the hassle of removing the engine/tank. Thanks in advance for your help.

My fuel selector knob seemed like it was welded onto it, put some rust away on there (anything penetrating oil would work.) And it came off smoothly after <10 seconds of application.
