I would like to Custom decal my whole boat need to remove all the old vynyl, also any way to rejuvinate the colored housing and rubber mat materials on the motor cover and over the steering wheel

My wife is a nurse and they use a alcohol like swab to remove sticky tape off people, i have used these to remove the stickers of my boat and it worked great, isopropenole is also good for removing sticky stuff.
The Star brite products are great!!:agree:

decal removal

We used to use a heat gun to remove decals on race cars and trailers.Just be careful not to get the fibreglass too hot! They should peel right off along with the glue:)

Just had all my graphics redone. Heatgun and a can of 3m adhesive remover. If u have some left it works excellant to remove tar!

i have custom painted a couple stand up jet skis and to the the stickers off use a heat gun, thats the easy part. the gunk left behind is best removed with goof off. soak a rag in goof off and let it sit on the sticky residue for about 20-30 min. then just rub off the sticky with the rag. goof off is cheap and easy to find. a lot of stand up guys use decal removal wheels on drills and they work great too, plus they get off the sticky.

The vinyl removal wheels work very good at removing the vinyl stickers and all the adhesive. It is like a giant spinning eraser. Cost under $15.00. It works quick too. I have done conversion vans full side graphics in like 2 hours.
