ok brand new battery all charged up i hooked it up and when i put the key in it wont even beep

not for nothing but was it ok before? did you hook the cables up correctly? if when you hooked up the cables you touched something metal with the hot you could have pop'ed the fuse....check all your connections if none of the above

It sounds like you need to check the wires from the battery. Be sure the ground is clean and getting a good connection. Check the fuses too, and if in doubt have the battery load tested, as it might be new and show 12 volts but have a bad cell and not have the amps to turn the engine over.
