Hello everyone,

Sorry I haven't introduced myself in my previous couple of posts, I've just been trying to get my 00 GTI running as it should. I'm working on replacing all of the fuel lines since I seem to be having a fuel feed issue and the gray lines are still installed. Anyways I was looking at the fuel selector valve and was wondering how does it come out. I tried spinning the molding on the outside figuring it screwed onto the valve itself like a nut but not dice. I didn't try to hard because I was worried about cracking it. Or has everyone just sprayed it clean while it's still installed onto the ski? Also figured I’d spray out the external filter housing to. Anything else in the system I need to clean other then the carb? Also any tricks to those stupid fuel line clamps the use at the factory. I've used a pick but it still is a PITA. Thanks for the help guys this forum has been a live saver.
