Another Low Fuel Question

Hey Guys, new to owning jet skis and to this forum. I do work on my cars, so I am mechanical. I have read several thread and understand how to check the fuel sender and baffle (thanks to the great information on this site!). I have a 2001 SeaDoo RX and a 2001 RX DI. I'm getting the "Low Fuel" message and was wondering if this would also cause the engine to shut off?
The tank is full, I took it out and it ran perfect for 20 minutes and then the Low Fuel light came on. I knew that there was plenty of fuel as I just filled it up prior to dropping in the lake and kept running it. It then stalled on me. It cranked right back up and ran good for about 2 minutes and shut off again. This carried on until I limped back to the ramp and put it back on the trailer. In some cases I could get it to run at about 5 MPH for a good 5 minutes before it shut off. In some cases the fuel gauge would drop off to empty. But, the gauge does work. Just sitting on the trailor, the gauge will read half full. Oh yeah, there is no Maintenance indicator on display, just low fuel.

One more question, sorry, on my RX DI, where is or are the Bilge pumps located. They don't appear to be working as good as they should.

Thanks for your help!
