Hi guys,
I was looking at Maxima's web site... and it looks like the "Tundra" oil is an API-TC oil. (low ash) As far as I can tell, it's a mineral oil, and the retail is only $29.99/gal.

Ironically, the "Tunra-R" has a dual certification, but is an ash-less oil... so... it is not truly an API-TC oil. (don't try the "R" version)
I'm just posting this up for reference. I have personally lost 3 engines on Maxima's "Super-M" oil (racing dirt bikes) but I have NEVER lost an engine on their 927. (Bikes and watercraft, other than Seadoo, as a pre-mix oil)
