I'm coming the weekend of the 8th. That is where I'm most likely to get an X4 involved. I'd be happy to look at your ski Nam.

If I can help nam let me know. 352-978-3349 I have tons of parts

thanks a ton guys, i think i'm gonna try to tweak a few more things and take it out one more time, if that doesn't work, and i'm not busy that weekend i'm gonna try to swing by that weekend

Matt or ?

Is there a schedule for the races on Sat/Sunday? really would like to see the X4s and HX race but have a limited time this weekend.

also hows parking? Wife would like to attend but can't walk the half mile + from the overflow at WallyWorld.

I did it!! I ran two motos on Sat and one on Sunday. Believe me it was tough not to wuss out. First of all there is no 800 class currently and they ran me with the "naturally aspirated" four strokes. I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean cause that mustard yellow one I was battling all weekend said 1.8 high output on the side.

There was me and my friend Wayne on his Polaris Pro785 against two of the Yamaha brand new factory sponsored skis mounted with pro riders on the Yamaha payroll. Wayne was fast as heck and took 2nd every time. I took 3rd on the first moto out of 5 but ended up 4th(last) on the final two. I could start to catch the slower Yami on the zig zag section of the coarse but he pulled away on the straights.

The X4 800 had more power than I could use. I just had to time my blasts of power while making sure that I stay on the darn thing. The waves were a hundred times harder on me than the other skis. I was getting Minatonka4me style air at times on Saturday. My arms were so tired after two laps in I would have to choose between pulling the throttle back or holding on with my right hand when I knew a hard hit was coming. They were 6 lap races. If I were in better shape I could have overtaken the lesser Yami the later two races.

I had fun and learned a lot and didn't get hurt. I am so soar however I feel like I was in an awful car wreck and then tumbled down a steep hill. It's honestly hard to walk down stairs. As soon as I bend a knee it feels like that legs just gonna give. I don't regret it, just being honest. I'm still excited about coming down to Tavaras and trying it on some flat water. Oh yeah, worked it out with the women also so I threw a pic of her in there.

Yes I will race Tavaras, Fl on the June 8th weekend. I think there will be more weekend warriors there like me. It's a regional race and not the National tour where the Factory guys are there chasing points for bounty money.

Dennis that sounds great. I need to know where to book a room down there. I'm trying to get my friend Wayne to bring down his Pro785 also.

Here is a pic of the mustard Yami(cool color) and the coarse directions

Tell him to bring it. The host hotel is just across from the race site but there are tons of hotels within minutes of the site if need be you can leave the skis at my house im 5-8 minutes max from the race site I have a fence in yard and 2 dogs. Or they can be left at my Gf's house which is 4-5 min from the site.
