New ski to me, first weekend I took it out it ran great. That was 2-3 weeks ago. Only issue I had was a low speed miss/stumble. Also the 12v low light would come and go.
Went to take it out this weekend..
Fired it off at the house on Sat and it started right up. Shut it back off and didnt touch it till Sunday.
Got it to the ramp, off the trailer and in the water with out firing it up dry. Figured it would be ok since it cranked Sat. It would not fire off Sunday in the water. Pulled it back out and it cranked up as soon as it was out of the water, so backed it back in and had it cranked right before it hit the water. It ran ok till I got to our buddies dock. I then had trouble starting it and tried charging the battery. Got it to run, but then it wouldnt go over 5200 rpms. Brought it back to the dock and then couldnt get it started again. Would turn over sometimes and sometimes just beep real loud. Tried charging the battery again, and got it back out and running and then it wouldnt go over 2500 rpms. Finally gave up and let it sit the rest of the day. I got it back to the ramp and again it didnt go over 2500. Had the battery checked out at Advanced and the battery checked out good. I checked all the connections I could, and everything seems tight. I took the plugs out at the house, and they were black, looked kinda dirty but I figured that was from the oil mixture too? Not sure what a 2 stroke plug should look like?? I dont know what would change from the last time it was out till now.
Can fuel injector cleaner be run thru these things?
ALSO, Still getting the 12v - low light and I noticed that my clock is always on 12 everytime I take this thing out on the water.. I was reading another post that said it may be the rectifier/mmpm?? I realize taking the battery out my reset it, but even with out taking the battery out it was at 12:00.
Sorry for the long post.
