How do you get that sucker out without tearing up those piece of crap black plastic screws? It is making me mad

They are not screws, they LOOK like screws. You need a really small sharp pick to get under the "screwhead" and lift them out. You can get replacements at Autozone. The "screw" pushes into an expansion grommet.

I'm with ya bro !!! I felt the same way. As Ckrawiec stated they are not screws. This is about the easiest console to remove. Just use something, a small screwdriver works but there are better tools, to lift the center pin, remove it and the hold down will come right out. Easy peasy.
