98 Seadoo GTS with new starter, starts and dies HELP!

My husband and I just put in a new starter. Added new spark plugs, cleaned battery connections, cleaned fuel pump. Seadoo starts with starter fluid and then dies two minutes later or doesnt start at all but tries. Starting the dumb thing has always been an issue! Put in new oil and gas too. Has a newly rebuilt engine about 3 years ago. HELP!

sounds like your not getting fuel, if you have the grey fuel lines replace them with new black fuel hose, check/clean the selector switch for the fuel, clean/replace the canister fuel filter, and then after that I would suggesst you complety tear down and clean/rebuild the carb(s), try a small spray of starter fluid in the carbs and see if she starts, do not keeping spraying to get it to start you need oil in the system so do not keep running it off of the starting fluid. see if it will run with that for a sec......
