I rode one with the lever and hated it after 10 minutes but that's just me. Too much work for rec riding in my opinion.

thanks for the info, i was thinking the same thing but never been on one to say yes or no. by the way i tryed to talk that guy down on the umi on ebay and he wont come down. the more i think about it hes prob not to far off, seeing that the 3 button older and finger throttle is at least $100 together...

Yeah I think it's actually a decent price if it sells for the opening bid. When I first saw it on Sunday I was going to buy immediately then realized there was no buy it now. I paid $350 for a good UMI a while back which needs bearings. Add handlebar and the 3 button housing and I think it's worth it. I was gonna bid the minimum and see what happens but if you want it go for it.

lol, I got one of them and for my other ski and if i remember i think i only paid 50 for it....i really think i need to get umi for this build, right now i have the newer bar pad that i got from nick that i was going to put on it but im not sure if i like the look of it with a single gauge hood

Imo aftermarket steering is one of the best mods for any seadoo, especially the hx and x4

More than likely. Easy to change. You need a housing gasket and the seal.

Nope, just remove the flywheel, the 10 screws behind than and slip the mag housing off, clean the gaskets, bang the old seal out (what would be towards the crank) and carefully pop the new one in.

What do you think of this gasket set? Since this comes with all the base gaskets that I'm going to need to set the squish
