97 seadoo challenger 1800 top speed?

Ok so I just replaced both motors in my boat and had all the carbs rebuilt... And so far the fastest I have gotten it up to is 45mph both motors rev out to 7k... Should I not expect it to go any faster... From what I have heard the should be able to 55-60 depending on how many occupants on board.

Thats probably about right. My 1999 challenger has two newer impellers & wear rings. Runs 7K around 47-48. thats looking at the speedo tho, haven't checked with a GPS. I think its the Speedsters & sportsters that a quicker. Not sure on how much quicker however.

My 99 Challenger 1800 runs about 49-50 at WOT. What you are running is close to spec. Does it come out of the hole and get on plane quickly?

My 97 challenger 1800 does 80kph on GPS. Not sure what that is in mph.
