Are you sure you connected everything back correctly? Maybe recheck the pulse line.

Also take a look at the filter. Last season I have a new filter that was defective. The symptoms were as you are describing.

Do you have fuel selector valves on your boat? If so, then the right one could be clogged. Best thing to do is replace it.

Almost forgot. Run it and pull the choke out a little. If it clears up...you have narrowed it to a fuel delivery problem.

Are there two rectifiers on a boat with twins? If so, that could be the issue.

Yes there are two rectifiers. It is possible the right one is going bad.
The reason I'm thinking carbs is because bellski just took them off and rebuilt them.

Jhjesse I only cleaned the right carb it was in very good condition and did not need rebuilt I haven't touched the left one

Current status summary based on my understanding: The starboard side motor was showing signs of hesitation prior to the carb rebuild, now runs well (unsure if problem was corrected and if yes, how).

The port side motor is now not running correctly, only maybe 30% power.

Sounds like a dead hole. Could be a dry carburetor, which also means potential lack of lubrication due to lack of fuel to distribute the lubricant within the dry cylinder.

I'd pull the plugs and reconfirm compression, may be no damage if the motor wasn't run very long with a dry hole. If there's any doubt, shoot some lube in the cylinder in case it's dry and mix up a squirt bottle of pre-mix to fuel the suspected dry hole, then see if it pops back to life by squirting some fuel mix into the carb.

So if you feel that the fuel system is good then crank the right motor with a volt meter on the battery. You should see 13.5 to 14vdc. If the voltage is lower than 12 or higher than 14.5vdc approx. then your rectifier is bad and needs replacing. Bad rectifiers make these engines do funny things.

Rebuilt carbs. Still having same problems w star board side motor seems to only bog down and die when under a load... Going to replace fuel pump this week

You mean the pulse part of the carb? I'm no expert on carbs but I believe the pulse part is only for low rpm. Experts chime in

Yes, the fuel pump is a mechanical diaphragm type pump that's actuated by the crankcase pulsations via the pulse tubing connection. If the fuel pump is worn out or tired in some way there may not be enough capacity remaining to keep up with the demand placed on it by the fuel consumption.

Just ordered mikuno high performance fuel pump you linked and metal shelled fuel filters

Is the fuel pump a simple unbolt, take fuel lines off and replace w new fuel pump

The boat shop just called said its not the fuel pump but oil problem... he converted it to premix... is this the best thing to do?

Honestly I like oil injection. It's simple and you just fill straight from the gas pump. Many members here will say they have never seen a oil injection pump fail. It's usually the hoses that go bad. And they are simple to replace (before they go bad)
