96 spx fuel lines?

new to the forum but have a question. i took the circuit board out of the gas tank to try and figure out why my gas gauge wasn't working. in doing so i had to remove the fuel lines attached to the "float". i lost track of what went where and need some help getting it back together. also, i took the ski out for the weekend and realized it's HORRIBLE on fuel. riding for a solid hour will empty it out. is this normal? thanks!!

My 97 was labeled just above the top hose clamp, but as I recall, the vent and return are opposite each other and reserve and on are opposite. On mine, reserve was towards front, on towards back, vent towards fuel valve and return towards fuel fill neck. The vent and return should be interchangeable and the only difference between on and reserve is the length of the dip-tube inside.
