My Jet 1996 SPI ran very well for about 4 hours after clean up and carb rebuild. It idled well, accelerated fine, and wide open throttle it was doing great. Later in the week, we took it out to the beach area (back bay Penscola, Fla) and it was a bit choppy. I noticed that after about 30 minutes of riding I crossed the wake of passing boats and had a good bounce or two. The engine changed its pitch and RPM but quickly came back on. About 5 -10 minutes later the RPM dropped off and it wouldn't revv up much at all. I had to putt back to the dock. It was a pretty long way to putt. After about 30 minutes I started it up and it ran fine again but repeated its antics and we had putt back to the dock again. :) When I got it home I replaced the carb filterl looked pretty hard at the main fuel filter but am wondering what else I need to check.

Plugs - compression - RV oil lines - fuel selector - inspect pulse & fuel lines & snug the connectors

Plugs should be a mocka color
