96 speedster....

Hi there.
Just bought a 96 speedster, took a test drive....Fast son of a gun she is. Continuous beep on back to dock. Tonight I took a hose, no engine's running. 1st tail tell (am I saying it right?) checked fine, 2nd hook up of the hose to other side, tail tell showed no water....is there a clog? how do I remove it and could this be the reason of the continuous beep.
Sorry, Newbie Sea Doo here....Old Sea Doo.(Plus, just learning about boating, netherless jetboating)

"Tonight I took a hose, no engine's running. "...not good Kimmy. Pull the plugs, and crank motor with water off, make sure all water is out/if any in the cylinders. ALWAYS run motor when water is on, but turn motors on first then water on, no more than couple minutes, then turn water off, then motors off...
