This thread was pretty much built out of Joe's post #6. If you go back one page, you'll see a list of places he's linked for sponsons, exhaust and a few other mods.

I use Riva Racing for performance mods. I use Impros for impellers. But, check out Joe's post #6. You'll find it interesting.

i have a general question about milling heads: would you be able to achieve the same effect if you just got a thinner base gasket? they can't mill but like .1mm off the head, so why not just go with a thinner base gasket? it might be a bit more work, but cheaper, faster and reversible. Would the piston protrude from the cylinder too much?

the main reason for milling the head it to get a clean mating surface to the block. when i did my 717 i had my head milled .25 of an inch and then got a THICKER head gasket. you have to keep you squish clearance with in spec.
