Looking for some help I have a 96 sea doo xp that shows no signs of life anymore. Ran good for a while then nothing. Nothing will light up nothing will make any noise and nothing will move when you put the tether on or push the button. I’ve Changed the battery the started the ignition coil and solenoid the tether tour the start button and the mpem. I’ve tested the rectifier and stuck my cdi in the oven. Only think I didn’t change was the whole wiring harness and have yet to try a different cdi. Does anyone have any other ideas I could try??

Ok, first did you connect the little black ground wire from the rear electrical box to the battery?

Next did you check all the fuses.

If you jump the starter solenoid posts does the engine turn over

I had one that was dead until I changed my CDI.

My 96 project had the same issue, plug on the rear electrical box was not snapped down so wasn't making contact

I have the wire connected I checked all the fuses and I will have to try jumping the solenoid

Did you test the DESS post? I bet the starter works if you jump the solenoid.
