I got a 96 Challenger and the blower motor is bad its squeaking and the fan is missing. I called the local seadoo place and they said its discontinued. Does anyone know where to get one of these. The blower sits in the round exhaust tube next where you put the gas in.

Im curious if a later year ver still has the same set up west coast Kal and seadoo is no help.

The blower has a round clip that keeps it in the blower from the bottom. The clip is the size diameter of the blower. Pinch it together and remove it and the blower from the bottom. Unplug the plug and it's free. Go to West Marine and get the exact duplicate for like $45.00. Cut, re solder and shrink wrap the wire ends to the water proof plug and re-install it.

Karl your a PIMP thanks again cant wait to meet you guys. Im all done but a radio and the blower thought the damm thing was nickle and dime me to death.

Anyway Thanks Again Good Stuff Now lets all get together and get hammered.

PS I hope this thing floats when i finish lmao.

Do you need a fuel guage...I got 2 extras...made for the Challenger, 6 wire. I have other goodies too...Seadoo XP-S synthetic oil...cheap by the gallon. 4 cases left.

hmm didnt see if the fuel gage works yet =p

I needed a speedo but they quit making them the one i bought was 241.00 im taking it back it didnt work and is to much money anyway.

As far as the oil i just filled it with that wal-mart stuff dont know what to expect as far as how much these things use, But if you still have them next time we have a meet and greet i could get them from you then depending on how much you want let me know.

Actually may be able to come up and see you before the meet and greet guess your not that far from me Maybe go out boating one day.

Scary you got that right

get that Wal Mart oil out of there as fast as possible. Sea Doos will not last 50 hours on regular outboard oil, use only real Sea Doo oil. Seriously.

Exit 191 off of 75, just be sure the oil you use now is the standard...
Use High quality low ASH API TC Injector oil.
Do Not use NMMA TC-W, TC-W2 or TC-W3 outboard motor oils or other ash less type 2 cycle oil. Avoid mixing different brands of API TC oil as resulting chemical reaction will cause severe engine damage. Never mix Mineral or synthetics oil together.

Never use fuel containing more than 10 % alcohol,( Methanol or Ethanol) as severe damage will occur. The minimum of 87 octane is recommended for most engines.

The xp-s syn...$25.00gallon

I used the wal-mart Quicksilver synth all the ratings that it called for was there.

I will still buy the other off you as soon as i get time to come up there going to Miami for a few days on Monday buts maybe next weekend i can come up.

PS I asked in the fourm about oils and only one person responded to it saying the quick silver oil from wal-mart was ok. I really hate to dump 50 bucks in oil as long as it has the recomended tc whatever it should be ok?
