95 XP800 carb pop off

Been searching and reading old threads all day. Trying to figure out what spring I need to use, for a pop off of 40-56
Seadoo source says 80 gram black, I looked up on world of power sports and it shows the 80 gram.
But the 80 gram says for 38 psi, so can I just bend the tab to get more or do I go up to the 95 gram spring?
I tried checking pop off with an 80 and only get about 32-34
What is the reason for the 40-56, for the 95 XP and XP800

Don't get hung up on the pop-off.

Something is a misprint. As the 40-56 is with an 80 gram spring and 1.2 needle and seat for the 720 engines not the 787.

It uses a 1.5 needle and seat and an 80 gram spring so there is no way it can have a 40-56 pop-off so don't bend the arm or chase it.

Use the correct 1.5 needle and seat and 80 gram spring.

I guess I’m not sure how the pop off affects the amount of fuel, but these carbs are a different part number than the 96 xp and also have different jetting as shown on Seadoo source’s chart. This says 147.5 and 60 pilot compared to 142.5 and 70 pilot.
Would that have something to do with the higher pop off? I keep wondering if they have the wrong spring listed?
Or should I rejet to 96 specs?

Run them as set from the factory, jetting and all and don't worry about the high pop-off as it is a misprint. You can't get the 40-56 psi pop-off with the 1.5 needle and seat and 80 gram spring.
