95 SPX - Looking for VTS parts/suggestions

Hey all - I came into a '95 SPX that runs like a dream - Only issue is the VTS sticks when I trim all the way to the full down position.

It's not electrical, the VTS motor works perfectly - I've had the entire VTS motor/worm gear assembly apart and it appears that possibly the worm gear may be worn and is jamming when the sliding collar (that the trim cable attaches to) is "screwed in" all the way - When I screw it past about 3/4 to "full down" configuration by hand, the sliding collar is very tight - Too tight for the trim motor to "unscrew" - Once I give it a turn or two by hand the other way, it's fine.

I can't see any obvious damage to the worm gear or sliding collar, and I've added PLENTY of new grease so I'm not sure what's causing it to jam. Maybe just normal wear.

I attempted to order the parts new, only to be informed that Bombardier has discontinued the parts I need. :-( I'm just looking for the worm gear and sliding collar.

Does anyone know where else I might be able to find replacements for these parts? Maybe someone more familiar with these would know if the same parts (or similar) exist on a newer or different model?

Hey dodger. I tried to find your parts as well. your right, looks like that sliding collar and worm gear are discontinued.
You can always go the used route. Here's a couple places Ive used before.

I found that calling them directly and telling them want you want is easiest.
