94 XP electrical issue

Yesterday I was running my 94 XP and it was running well. I turned it off for 15 minutes and when I tried to start it up there was absolutely nothing happening. I messed with the emergency shut off wires and it started again, and I was able to get back home. After refueling I tried to start it again but after turning over at first it died and did the same thing as before. I can't get it to start again. Could it be the emergency shut off switch or is it more likely to be something else?

I believe you have the original push button post,,,go over your connections,,,perhaps try just shunting the connector with a paper clip,,?,,,its just a straight old fashioned switch...
