2022 GTX limited hull split

Not sure how this happened, buddy and his young son was putting around and I noticed they were proposing so I waved them down. Ski was sitting low in the water so I pulled them onto our boat. Realized the ski was sinking so I jumped on it o try and get it back to the dock. Ended up going dead and was sinking fast so I towed it to the launch. Hull split wide open. I never saw them go over 20mph so I know they didn’t do anything. Previous damage is always possible but I can’t find evidence of an impact anywhere. Any opinions as to what may have happened here?

Ouch! 2022: What year did Sea-Doo move to the plastic hull? That doesn't look like a plastic hull, and I've never seen one of the fiberglass hulls separate like that without impact damage.

Did you buy the ski new or used?

Bought new, it is the ST3 hull so it’s not plastic. I can’t find any sign of impact but who knows. Taking It to my dealer in the morning and will call insurance depending on what they say.
