2006 GTI lacks good acceleration

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum, and come here looking for suggestions on my 2006 GTI. I actually just bought 2 of these ski's about a month ago, they both have around 50 hrs on them, they look brand new. One has very snappy throttle response, and the other one lacks the same power kind of power. They both have fresh gas and I replaced the plugs on the one with the power issue. When I go full throttle on it and it gets up to speed it seems like it's struggling compared to the other one. The exhaust noise seems to be a bit louder too. I'm not sure why this one wouldn't have the same snappy power response. At full speed it doesn't seem to go as fast as the other one. I'm kind of worried about driving it just in case there is something going on with it. Hope I can find answers to this without having to bring it in.

Wear ring and prop clearance would be the first place I'd look. Another possibility is engine/shaft/pump alignment. Another possibility would be the throttle body butterfly not opening properly.
