2000 seadoo challenger dual 717s

So I have a 2000 seadoo challenger and my left engine died one day and doesn’t have any spark, still turns over but won’t start. Also When I plug the key in there are no beeps anymore. The other engine runs just fine. Is there anyway to bypass the mpem? I’ve seen them going for like 1500 and I’m not tryna dump that kind of money into it. Unless someone’s got one for sale cheap

there are plenty of things you can look at long before you buy another engine computer.

think about the other things that could also cause a no spark condition. maybe consider buying a service manual and going through the troubleshooting diagram for no spark. at least that is what i would do.

A possibility after 20 yrs. for the Ign. pick-up coil to be working fine with no symptoms then a wire opens on the windings inside and game over. Easy check with a meter.
