I have a 2000 Seadoo GTX direct injection 781cc PWC with 94hrs. Last time out it ran fine although a few splutters at low mid revs - fine when more gas given.
Took out today and only fired on one cylinder - idled but no power. Front cylinder firing and is enough to start ski and idle but if lead pulled off front it dies. Removed plug and is a spark on rear but if lead off front ski wont run.
I think I have an RFI engine which may be designed to idle on 1 cyl if a fault elsewhere (eg low battery, fuel pump etc). Engine family is YBCXM.
Only a few hours on new battery and was turning over fine - will charge tonight but don't think its a problem. Any other ideas before I head for the shop??
