Ok so I bought this boat and it ran fine, except it had some cavitation.

I Bought SBT exchange props and new wear rings. Had the dealer put them in. They said they also changed the oil and put in new O-Rings.

I also put in new plugs, snipped the wires, and put in a new battery. Put in seafoam to clean out the fuel system and it has a full tank of gas. When I reinstalled the pumps I put locktight on the 8 bolts and put instant gasket on the pump housing.

Now it won't plane and only gets up to about 10 - 15 MPH. The engines rev to about 4500 RPM's with the throttle wide open. Except randomly the right engine will jump up to 7500 RPM's and then drop down (with no increase in speed )

I am up at my buddys lake house and hoping to use it tomorrow

ANY IDEAS??????

pull the pumps, and go to dealer and get neoprene seals. Also, its possible, dealer didnt do anything? Why were the pumps taken off, in the first place? The 4500rpm, sounds like you need to pull the carb, only one per motor, and go thru it.

I pulled the pumps because the props and wear rings were trashed. I can tell the dealer did the work.

What are these seals???

Could the seafoam effect the carbs???

Anything else I should look at??

remove the gasket maker crap, go get the neoprene seals, and go thru the carb/s bud...
